On the south side of town is the Mackinaw City Campground. This campground does not have showers or other facilities. This campground offers 30 amp electricity, picnic tables, fire pits, and Wi-Fi.

Of course! Bring your own bike to this campground. This campground is huge, with over 600 campsites. It took a few days to get their points on the map and the campsite laid out.
If you want to save money, you can bring your own bike or rent one at the campsite. Rates start at $9/hour, with rates available for other days and hours.
We camped with friends and spent a lot of time going back and forth between their campsites because they couldn't find campsites next to each other. There is also a bike path across the road from the campground, about 3 miles from town. This is a fun activity for those who like to explore by bike.
