1. Devil’s Lake State Park
During the summer, camping at Devil's Lake State Park is very popular, and spots fill up fast. Nonetheless, there are lots of family-run and privately owned campgrounds in the region that provide exceptional camping experiences.
Baraboo is a great option if you're searching for campgrounds close to Devil's Lake, as there are a number of campgrounds there that are just ten minutes or less away.
Furthermore, Wisconsin Dells is another handy place to camp; it's only fifteen minutes from Devil's Lake.
2. Nordic Pines Resort & Family Campground
RV as well as tent camping with basic and partial hookups is available at Nordic Pines Campground in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This campground is closer to Devil's Lake State Park than one might anticipate from a private park.

The campsite offers a combination of tent and RV sites and is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The natural beauty of this place is one of its most notable aspects. The park feels like a remote getaway because to its beautiful scenery, which includes dense pine forests and steep ledges.
Because there are lots of trees, the sites are well-shaded and offer a fair level of privacy. There are a few routes where you may enjoy the beautiful surroundings if you enjoy hiking.
Fire pits, picnic tables, and neat and tidy restrooms with showers are among the facilities. Please feel free to bring your animal companions with you. Pets are welcome.
Although there are no water or sewer hookups, the park does offer electric hookups for RVs. There is clean drinking water and a sanitary dump stations are available.
4. Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground
Fox Hill RV Park & Campground is very close to Devil's Lake State Park as well as the Wisconsin Dells.
In addition to woodland camp sites with accessible full hook-up (W/E/S) pull-thru RV sites that can fit even the largest RVs and trailers with 20/30/50 amp service, they also offer basic and luxury cabins. They have a 50-acre campground that is ideal for gatherings with loved ones.

5. Mirror Lake State Park
During the summer, the park's concession business rents out boats, canoes, and kayaks. Mirror Lake has two boat ramps, but powered boats are not permitted on the lake.
Spending the day lounging on the swimming beach area is highly recommended. The park is home to about 19 miles of cross-country ski and hiking paths.
You can fish the lake from your boat or along the banks of the creeks that feed it. You can throw a line into the dock in this park. Have you forgotten your fishing supplies? The park office has some available for you to borrow.
Choose from 151 family campsites and set up camp among the massive pines and ancient oaks.
There are three campgrounds in the park where these spots are situated. There is a picnic table and fire ring for outdoor dining at each location.
This Wisconsin state park features a cottage created by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. For those who prefer not to rough it, there is also an exclusive cabin available. You can buy firewood at the ranger station.

6. Skillet Creek Campground

10. Quartzite campground
Visitors can camp in Devil's Lake State Park's Quartzite campsite, which has both electric as well as non-electric sites available.
Originally a 9-hole golf course, this campground features largely open, grassy spaces interspersed with a variety of trees.
Due to the wide and roomy layout of many of its campsites, Quartzite Campground is a great option for people with large RVs, even though many of them have no cover or are situated on the edge close to nearby woods.
The campground has a dump station, gaga ball pit, modern shower structure, and a playground. Quartzite Campground is easily accessible from County Road DL, which helps visitors avoid the busy summertime traffic either coming or going from the campground.
The main day-use picnic area and beach of the park are accessible via an access road, as is the Nature Center.
Although it's only a quarter of a mile to the beach, guests should be aware that there's a steep hill separating the campground from the day-use area.
11. Ice Age Campground
Devil's Lake State Park is a very popular place to camp. Make plans for camping or other housing well in advance of your trip by planning ahead of time and considering your possibilities.
There are three campgrounds in Devil's Lake State Park, totaling 423 sites that may accommodate families of one to six people apiece.
The park no longer offers campsites on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, there are nine group campsites with space for 240 campers. The southern side is home to group campsites.
Every campground has unique features that have contributed to their popularity among yearly campers. The beach of Devil's Lake itself is devoid of campgrounds. Winter camping is available only at the Quartzite campground.
12. Cliffwood Campground — Mirror Lake State Park
Out of the 35 campsites at Cliffwood campground, 29 have power. One of the websites, 132, is accessible to those with disabilities. From May 1 until October 31, Cliffwood Campground is open.
Double sites are located at 106–121, 127–128, 130–131, and 135–136. In other words, each site has its own unique location, yet they share a driveway.
These are the best locations for groups of people who would rather camp next to one another in a more spacious common area. Each campsite has a reservation fee, and the two campsites are reserved jointly.
In season, there are flush and pit toilets along with showers. Weather-dependent shower/flush toilet buildings and water supply are available from late fall to early spring.
A 0.4-mile accessible paved road winds through the campsite on the Echo Rock Trail, taking you to a stunning overlook and the Ishnala bridge that over the Mirror Lake gorge.

13. Bluewater Bay Campground — Mirror Lake State Park
The closest campground to the park's visitor center and amphitheater, Bluewater Bay, features four loops with sixty-three non-electric campsites. The Bluewater Bay Campground is open roughly from May 15 until October 15.
The Group Camp parking lot and the shower house are separated by the Bluewater Bay campsite host site.
Showers and flush and pit toilets are accessible during peak season. Weather-dependent shower/flush toilet buildings and water supply are available from late fall to early spring.
This campground also features a huge open field, sand volleyball court, playground, and reservable amphitheater. The campsite and the beach area are connected by the Kilbourn Trail.
14. Sandstone Ridge Campground
The Wisconsin Mirror Lake State Park's Sandstone Ridge Campground welcomes you! For those seeking a modern retreat with a touch of wilderness, this location is a hidden treasure.
The campground offers lots of seclusion between sites because it is tucked away in a lush, forested region. This isn't where you'll feel like you're camping on top of your neighbors.
The fact that many sites have power hookups, which is convenient for RV campers, is one of its best characteristics.
You'll value the roomy campsites and the numerous drinking water spigots dotted around if you're tent camping. In addition, the campground has hot showers and spotless flush toilets, which are always appreciated after a day of kayaking or hiking.
When it comes to activities, there are plenty to choose from. There are excellent hiking paths in the park that wind across beautiful scenery.
There's a sandy beach area for swimming, and the lake itself is ideal for fishing and canoeing. Take a quick stroll to the Ishnala Supper Club, a well-liked dining destination in the area.
15. Arrowhead RV Campground
Located on 188 lovely wooded acres, Arrowhead RV Resort is an amazing camping getaway only minutes from the center of the Wisconsin Dells.

Family-friendly Merry Mac Campground is situated away between Lake Wisconsin and Devil's Lake's southern shore.

17. Wheeler's Campground
One mile from Devil's Lake State Park lies Wheeler's Campground, which is tucked away on 70 acres amid the Baraboo hills.
Wheeler's supplies equipment for rock climbing and is certified by Travel Green WI. Welcome to the vast outdoors!
With a new name and new proprietors, Wheeler's Campground is now only a mile from the north entrance of Devil's Lake State Park. That's right—an ancient name made new once more.
Chris and Lea Ann Gieck, who had been spending their summers at "Wheelers" for the previous nine years, recently had the chance to buy the campsite.
Adding another thirty or more electric and seasonal sites is one of their initial objectives. Skillet Creek: Why? Actually, the 70-acre campsite was known as Skillet Creek Camping Resort before it was dubbed Wheelers.
The reason for this is that Skillet Creek—yes, the real creek—passes through the land before turning west to reach Pewit's Nest SNA. They desired to do respect to that past.
