Camping at Alum Creek State Park Campground
For all kinds of camping, the big campground offers shaded campsites. On designated locations, dogs are welcome.
30 basic campsites are available at an equestrian camp on a first-come, first-served basis. Some campsites with electrical views overlook the lake, as well as wooded and sunny areas.

Camping Rules at Alum Creek State Park
• Check In Moment is 3: 00 PM and Check Out Time is 1: 00 PM. Cabin: Check- out period is 11: 00 AM. No exclusions.

• ALL campgrounds are reserved. There are no Walk– In webpages at this State Park Campground. When the tent business is closed you may make a reservation either by calling 866.644.6727 or at reserveohio.com.
• If preparing on using your Golden Buckeye Card (or other cheap cards) on a ticket you will be asked to show your cards and identification upon Check- In. Customers may be present to get a discount.
• You must be eighteen years old or older to enroll for a campsite. Every person who registers for a campground is responsible for the campsite inhabitants and guaranteeing all guidelines and regulations are observed.
A written permission sheet from parents or legal guardians is required for anyone under the age of eighteen to camp.
• A maximum of two domestic cats or dogs per site are allowed. Pets are not permitted in any of the camp facilities, on the beach, or in the cabins. Pets should never be left unsupervised and should always be kept on a leash.
• Within a thirty-day period, the maximum stay is 14 days.
• Six persons at most per ideal location.
• Alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside of your campsite.
• Parking for each campsite is available; kindly avoid parking on the grass. Only TWO automobiles are allowed in a campsite.
Among the vehicles are RVs and boat trailers. There can only be one boat trailer per campsite. Please think about parking your trailer in the visitor's lot or the ramp parking lot.
The campground is open to visitors until 10:00 p.m. All visitors are required to park in specific areas, and only registered campers are allowed.
• The maximum number of tents allowed for camping is two without a recreational vehicle per site or one tent per site with a recreational vehicle. Campers must be spaced five feet apart and may only set up camp in the approved areas—neither within nor outside the beautiful trees.
• Toilet trash should be dumped at the waste dump station next to the playground, and dishwater should be disposed of in waste-water drains.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM; try to avoid making too much noise during these times.
It is illegal to collect flora, cut down trees, gather dead wood, or do any of these things. All fires should be kept inside the fire ring. Do not relocate the fire ring either.
• Within the park is a beach where you can have a swim. Not allowed to swim in undesignated places. All inflatables are prohibited.
• It is not permitted to use drones, fireworks, or guns in the camp sites.
• If the weather is bad, please use the closest shower houses or restroom. In case of emergency, dial 911.

The natural beauties of Pickaway County's A. W. Marion State Park can be attributed to glaciation that took place more over 12,000 years ago.
