State Bicycle Co. provides a five-year warranty against defects in manufacturing for all bicycle frames and forks, valid only for the original purchaser and non-transferable. This warranty does not cover damages stemming from misuse or lack of maintenance. Essor USA brand carbon fiber forks are excluded from this coverage, but they do come with a separate two-year warranty.
For all non-consumable parts/accessories, State Bicycle Co. offers a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. These parts include pedals, crankset, wheels, hubs, spokes, stems, carbon fiber forks, seat posts, and handlebars. However, regular wear and tear on items such as tires, bar tape, saddles, chains, tubes, grips, paint, and brake pads are not covered under any warranty.
The warranty period is 5 years from the date of activation, covering only the initial purchase. Any replacement items needed within the warranty period will be covered until the end of the original warranty term, not an additional 5 or 1 year.
For electronic bikes, there's an 18-month warranty for motor, electronics, and battery. For other parts, refer to the information stated above.
To activate your bicycle warranty, we must receive proof of professional assembly. This ensures you have the safest and most optimized riding experience with your new bike. Please submit your warranty card and proof of a professional build within 30 days of receiving your bike. Activating your warranty will provide you with confidence, knowing your bike is safe, tuned up, and customized to your comfort level.
Please note, State Bicycle Co. will only have your bike serial number on record if you register it with us. The serial number is engraved under the bottom bracket shell on each frame.
