1. Bear Lake Campground and Day-use Area
Bear Lake Campground is in George Washington State Forest, United States, and Scenic State Park looks after it. There are 29 campsites, and they're kind of basic, just giving you what you really need.
Each spot has a clear space, a fire ring, and a picnic table.
You've got toilets, garbage cans, and water you can drink. This place is right by a lake where you can catch walleye and crappie.

2. Hayes Lake State Park
The main thing in the park is the lake and a part of the Roseau River called the North Fork. It's like going from farms to wild nature all of a sudden.

Other animals like fishers, otters, lynxes, black bears, and wolves live there too. You can explore 13 hiking trails or 6 miles on a snowmobile.

Three of them are just for tents, and the others can fit RVs from 25 to 40 feet. You can book a campsite on recreation.gov.

4. East Bearskin Campground
East Bearskin Lake Campground sits right by the lake it's named after, on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe in Northern Minnesota. It's great for folks who want the Boundary Waters experience but also like the ease of car camping.
You can book regular tent sites or just show up, and there are small cabins for rent that fit five or seven people. You can do canoeing, kayaking, and even use motorized boats on East Bearskin Lake.
It's easy to get to with your car. But remember, you've got to take care of your own travel plans and safety. Also, bring along some of your own stuff.
5. Chippewa National Forest & Campgrounds
Camping in Chippewa National Forest can be as simple as sleeping under the stars or enjoying a comfy campground with trails and showers.
The forest has 21 campgrounds and 100 backcountry sites. Campgrounds have different facilities – some have electricity and running water, while others are more basic with toilets and hand pump water wells.
