Great Bag

This is the third backpack I've tried and the only one I've genuinely liked. It's easy to adjust, comfortable, and has excellent storage space. The only thing I wish it had is a side zipper, but that's not a deal-breaker—I might even add one in later. Used it last weekend for a hike up Table Rock Pinnacle and only needed a few minor adjustments. Still getting the feel of it, but so far, I highly recommend it.

Comfortable Carrying

We own both the RedTail 80 and 65. Each of them is versatile, well-crafted, and provides a comfortable carrying experience.

Great Backpacking

I've taken this backpack on about 10 adventures and it's been fantastic! It offers ample space and enough compartments to keep things tidy. The hip pockets are perfect for housing essentials like sunglasses, sunscreen, or electrolyte tablets. While it's been ideal for my 3-5 day trips, it might be a bit much for shorter excursions and could fall short for week-long journeys. But overall, it's a great backpacking companion!

Solid Backpack

This backpack is spacious and a joy to carry. However, I was looking for a feature that this one lacks—a detachable summit bag. While you can remove the lid, it doesn't come with straps to convert it into a fanny pack or a slack bag. Despite this, it's still a solid backpack.

Easy To Pack

This backpack? It's the bee's knees! Got it for my 14-year-old, and it's as vibrant and tough as him. Survived a 37-mile Wyoming romp, summer 2022, with constant thumbs up from the kiddo. It's got adjustability that'll match his growth spurts. Though some squabble about short straps and missing summit bags, I say pish-posh! Aftermarket straps and a lemon-sized packable bag did the trick. And those irritating detachable hoods? Glad this pack doesn't bother with such nonsense! A total win in my book!
